Benefits
Specifically Designed for Difficult-to-Bond Plastics
LSE-110WF provides reliable adhesion to polypropylene (PP), TPO, TPE and other low surface energy materials that normally require primers or surface treatments.
Primer-Free Assembly
In many applications, bonding can be achieved without Primer 94, simplifying production and reducing manufacturing costs.
Permanent Structural Bond
Replaces screws, rivets, welds and liquid adhesives while creating a clean, invisible bond line.
Excellent Outdoor Durability
Maintains bond strength under UV exposure, moisture, humidity and harsh environmental conditions.
Waterproof Sealing
The acrylic foam core provides an effective seal against water, dust and contaminants.
Improved Manufacturing Efficiency
Pressure-sensitive adhesive technology eliminates curing time and secondary finishing operations.

Installation Guide
- Clean bonding surfaces to remove oil, dust and contaminants.
- In many LSE applications, primer is not required.
- Apply the tape using firm, even pressure.
- Avoid repositioning after initial contact.
- Approximately 50% bond strength develops after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and 100% after 72 hours at room temperature.
- For critical applications, perform production validation tests before mass manufacturing.
Storage
Store the tape in its original packaging.
Recommended storage conditions:
- Temperature: 16°C–27°C (60°F–80°F)
- Relative Humidity: 40%–60%
- Keep away from direct sunlight.
- Store in a clean, dry environment.
- Store rolls horizontally whenever possible.
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management.
- Shelf life: 24 months.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is 3M™ VHB™ LSE-110WF used for?
It is primarily used for bonding low surface energy plastics, including PP, TPO, TPE and HDPE, in automotive, appliance, electronics, signage and industrial applications.
How thick is LSE-110WF?
The tape has a nominal thickness of 1.1 mm (45 mil).
Does it require Primer 94?
In many applications, no primer is required, significantly simplifying the bonding process. However, application testing is always recommended.
Which plastics can it bond?
It is designed for PP, TPO, TPE, HDPE, PA (Nylon) and many composite materials while also bonding metals, glass and painted surfaces.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It offers excellent resistance to UV exposure, moisture, solvents, weathering and temperature cycling.
What is the difference between LSE-110WF and LSE-060WF?
- LSE-060WF: 0.6 mm (25 mil) thickness for thinner bond lines.
- LSE-110WF: 1.1 mm (45 mil) thickness with greater gap-filling capability and improved stress distribution.
Both products use the same modified acrylic adhesive optimized for low surface energy plastics.
Can LSE-110WF be die-cut?
Yes. Guangdong Yousan offers precision die-cutting, laminating, rewinding, slitting, kiss-cutting and OEM converting services.
