Installation Guide
1. Clean the Surface
Remove dust, dirt, oil, grease, moisture and other contaminants from the bonding surfaces.
For optimum adhesion, surfaces should be clean and dry.
2. Evaluate the Substrate
Confirm that the substrate is compatible with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive.
For painted, coated, rough, textured or low-surface-energy materials, conduct application-specific testing.
3. Apply the Tape
Apply 9087 smoothly to the first substrate.
Avoid stretching, folding or wrinkling the tape during application.
4. Apply Firm Pressure
Apply sufficient and uniform pressure across the tape to maximize adhesive contact and wet-out.
Pressure is particularly important when bonding textured or irregular surfaces.
5. Remove the Liner
Carefully remove the glassine liner without contaminating the exposed adhesive.
6. Assemble the Components
Position the second component accurately and bring it into contact with the exposed adhesive.
7. Allow Bond Development

8. Validate the Finished Assembly
