3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesive Primer EW-5005 is a water-based, non-chromated structural primer designed to enhance adhesion and provide corrosion protection for metal bonding systems. It is widely used in aerospace and high-performance industrial applications, particularly with epoxy film and paste adhesives cured at elevated temperatures (121–177°C). Compared with traditional solvent-based primers, EW-5005 offers: lower VOC emissions + regulatory compliance (REACH).
