3M Adhesion Promoter K500 is a moisture-cured liquid primer designed to improve the adhesion of 3M acrylic foam tapes on a wide range of automotive substrates, especially low surface energy (LSE) materials such as PP, TPO, and EPDM. It is specifically formulated for automotive exterior trim attachment, where strong bonding, durability, and process efficiency are critical. With its fast-drying solvent system (under 1 minute) and compatibility with standard application equipment, K500 is widely used in high-volume production environments.
