3M Acrylic Plus Tape EX4015 is a high-performance double-sided acrylic foam tape developed for automotive OEM exterior bonding applications. It features a ~1.52 mm viscoelastic acrylic foam core combined with a dual-adhesive system (different adhesive on each side), enabling strong and reliable bonding to both automotive paint systems and various substrates.

Features:

  • Dual-adhesive system for optimized bonding to different substrates on each side.

  • Excellent adhesion to traditional and advanced automotive paint systems.

  • Liner-side adhesive designed for medium surface energy (MSE) and scratch-resistant paints.

  • Non-liner side provides strong bonding to plastics, powder coatings, and automotive components.

  • 1.52 mm thick foam core offers enhanced gap filling and cushioning capability.

  • Black foam provides clean, aesthetic bond-line appearance.
