Electrical Insulation Film for Motors

Electrical Motor Insulation Film(motor film) is a high-performance polymer film designed to provide electrical insulation, thermal resistance, and mechanical durability in electric motor applications. Commonly made from PET (polyester), polyimide, or PEN materials, this film is widely used for slot liners, phase insulation, and coil wrapping in low- to high-voltage motors.

Features:

  • Excellent Dielectric Strength: Prevents short circuits and arcing in tight winding spaces.
  • High Thermal Resistance: Available in Class B (130°C), Class F (155°C), or Class H (180–220°C) grades for long-term heat exposure.
  • Mechanical Flexibility: Conforms easily to motor slot shapes and resists tearing or deformation.
  • Dimensional Stability: Maintains structure under mechanical stress and high temperatures.
  • Chemical & Moisture Resistance: Performs reliably in humid, oil-filled, or chemically active environments.

Applications:

Slot liner and phase insulation in AC and DC motors, Interlayer insulation in motor windings, Coil wrapping and protection in electric compressors, Die-cut insulation parts for EV motors and industrial drives, Generator and transformer insulation systems.
