DMD Composite Paper

DMD composite paper is a widely used flexible insulation material composed of polyester non-woven fabric (D) + polyester film (M) + polyester non-woven fabric (D). This three-layer laminate provides an optimal balance of electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and thermal resistance, making it ideal for use in motors, transformers, and electronic devices.

Features:

• Excellent Dielectric Strength: The PET film core ensures high electrical insulation performance for low- and medium-voltage applications.
• Good Thermal Resistance: Typically rated for Class B (130°C) or Class F (155°C), depending on material grade.
• Mechanical Reinforcement: Non-woven outer layers enhance tear strength, abrasion resistance, and flexibility.
• Good Processability: Easy to slit, punch, fold, or die-cut—suitable for automated motor slot lining and insulation systems.
• Smooth Surface Finish: Ensures consistent winding and layering in electrical component assembly.

Applications:

Slot liner and phase insulation in electric motors, Interlayer insulation in dry-type transformers, Die-cut insulation components for compressors and pumps, Electrical barrier and wrapping in coils and magnetic assemblies, General insulation in appliances, tools, and lighting ballasts.
