Internship Developer Debondable Tapes
Assist in the design and testing of debondable adhesives and pressure-sensitive tape formulations.
Description
This internship focuses on the development of debondable (removable or repositionable) tape technologies used in electronics, automotive, and precision applications. You’ll support formulation trials, test protocols, and customer simulation conditions under the guidance of senior engineers.

Working Hours: Full-time
What you will do?
● Assist in the design and testing of debondable adhesives and pressure-sensitive tape formulations.
● Conduct peel, tack, shear, and residue-free removal tests using lab equipment.
● Help develop testing protocols for evaluating removability and rework performance.
● Analyze data and summarize material performance across substrates (glass, metal, plastic).
● Support benchmarking of competing products and trends in high-end electronic assembly tapes.
● Participate in internal meetings to understand application scenarios (e.g. OLED, EV battery modules).
● Help prepare technical documents and test reports.
What you will need?
● Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
● Basic understanding of adhesives, surface energy, and substrate interactions.
● Hands-on experience with lab instruments preferred (e.g., peel testers, rheometers, ovens).
● Attention to detail, scientific thinking, and data accuracy.
● Ability to communicate technical findings in English or Chinese.
● Strong curiosity about removable adhesive design and material innovation.
