EMI Gasket

EMI gasket (Electromagnetic Interference gasket) is a conductive sealing material designed to block or attenuate electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference (EMI/RFI) while providing an environmental seal. It is typically made from a conductive fabric, metal-filled elastomer, or metal mesh combined with a compressible core material. EMI gaskets are engineered to maintain electrical conductivity between two surfaces, ensuring proper shielding integrity in electronic enclosures, panels, and housings, while also protecting against dust, moisture, and vibration.
