EMI Shielding Gasket for Enclosure Sealing, Signal Protection & Interference Reduction

EMI gasket (Electromagnetic Interference gasket) is a conductive sealing material designed to block or attenuate electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference (EMI/RFI) while providing an environmental seal. It is typically made from a conductive fabric, metal-filled elastomer, or metal mesh combined with a compressible core material. EMI gaskets are engineered to maintain electrical conductivity between two surfaces, ensuring proper shielding integrity in electronic enclosures, panels, and housings, while also protecting against dust, moisture, and vibration.

Features:

  • Excellent EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness across a broad frequency range.

  • Maintains good electrical conductivity under compression.

  • Provides environmental sealing (against dust, moisture, etc.).

  • Available in various profiles, thicknesses, and materials (e.g., conductive foam, fabric-over-foam, metal mesh).

  • Easy to install, cut, and customize to fit complex designs.

Applications:

Sealing and shielding doors, covers, and panels in electronic enclosures, Shielding telecom equipment, medical devices, and military electronics, Protecting sensitive circuits from external EMI/RFI, Providing electrical grounding and continuity, Reducing emissions to comply with regulatory standards.
